Laboratory Guidelines

Several programming laboratories will be assigned in this course. The laboratory evaluation and submission are as follows:

• Laboratory attendance is mandatory.


• About five laboratories will be assigned. They are individual laboratories instead of team laboratories. The difficulty level of laboratories will be increased gradually.


• Microsoft Macro Assembler (MASM) Version 8.0 will be used to grade the laboratories.


• Submission methods include
  • turning in the hard copies of laboratory assignments, and
  • either posting the code on the Web, or submitting CDs containing the code.
  The labs will be graded only if both of the hard copies and code are submitted.


• Each lab has a different weight based on its difficulty level.
