It is a smart card that stores data for GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) cellular telephone subscribers.
Such data includes user identity, location and phone number, network authorization data, personal security keys, contact lists and stored text messages.
Security features include authentication and encryption to protect data and prevent eavesdropping.
Lightning Connector
It is a proprietary computer bus and power connector created by Apple Inc. to replace its previous proprietary 30-pin dock connector, and is used to connect Apple mobile devices like iPhones, iPads and iPods to host computers, external monitors, cameras, USB battery chargers and other peripherals.
